Daal Mash Recipe
Before we get into the recipe, please read and note down all the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

- Daal Mash – White Lentil 1/4 kg
- Haldi – Tumeric
- Safaid Zeera – Cumin
- Barri Elachi -Black Cardamom
- Sabut Kali Mirch – Black Peppercorns
- Laung – Cloves
- Oil
- Pyaaz – Onions
- Lassan Adrak Paste – Ginger Garlic Paste
- Surk Mirch Masala – Red Pepper Powder
- Namal – Salt
- Hari Mirch – Green Pepper
- Tomato
- Adrak – Ginger
- Hara Dhaniya – Coriander
- Garam Masala
Daal Mash Recipe in Urdu

Prepare the Daal
The first step is to take the 1/4 kg of Daal Mash/White Lentil and boil it and let it soak. Now Boil 1 Mug of water and add the soaked Daal Mash in it. Add 1/2 ts Haldi/Tumeric, 1/2 ts of Safaid Zeera/Cumin. Stir it a little then add, 1 Barri Elachi/Black Cardamom, 4 pieces of Sabut Kali Mirch/Black Peppercorns, and 4 pieces of Laung/Cloves. Heat it and mix it all well. Cook and cover it until the water and material get mixed with the Daal. Put it aside, as it is the end of step 1.
Prepare the Mixture for Daal
Now separately, add 1/2 cup of Oil, 1 piece of sliced Pyaaz/Onion. Heat it and cook it until the onion gets browny. After the onion slices get browny, add 2 ts Lassan Adrak Paste/Ginger Garlic Paste, add 1/2 ts Cumin, and half 1/2 Turmeric in it. Now add 1ts Surk Mirch Masala/Red Pepper Powder, 1 ts Namak/Salt in it. You need to add a little water as well. After 2-3 minutes add 5 pieces of Hari Mirchain/Green Pepper, 1 piece of sliced Tomato, 1 piece of sliced Adrak/Ginger.

Mix the Two
Cook it for 5 minutes then add the prepared Daal we made earlier in step 1. Now mix the Daal and the mixture prepared in step 2, and cook it for five to ten minutes. Add Hara Dhaniya/Coriander for the presentation and Garam Masala before it is completely cooked. Keep on stirring and allow the ingredients to blend in with the Daal.
