  • Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) – 1 tsp
  • Green Cardamom (Choti Elachi) – 4 pieces
  • Black Cardamom (Bari Elachi) – 2 pieces
  • Cloves (Laung) – 4 pieces
  • Bay Leaves (Taiz Pata) – 2 pieces
  • Water (Paani) – 2 cups
  • Tomato Paste – 2 tomatoes, blended
  • Yogurt (Dahi) – 1/8 kg
  • Potatoes (Aloo) – Sliced, as per your preference
  • Green Chillies (Hari Mirchain) – 4 pieces
  • Garam Masala – 1 tsp

Prepare the Mutton and Curry Base

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat 1 cup oil and add 2 tsp salt and ½ kg mutton.
  2. Cook the mutton on medium heat. Once it begins to brown, add 2 chopped onions and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste.

    • 2 tsp red pepper (laal mirch)
    • 1 tsp turmeric (haldi)
    • 2 tsp coriander powder (pesa dhaniya)
    • 1 tsp cumin (zeera).

  1. After releasing the pressure from the cooker, add 2 blended tomatoes (tomato paste) and 1/8 kg yogurt to the curry.
