Chicken Tikka Biryani

Chicken Marination

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Namak- Salt 1 tsp
  • Laal Mirch- Red Grinded pepper 1 tsp
  • Tikka Masala 1 tsp
  • Haldi- Tumeric ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2
  • Yellow color 2 Pinch
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Koyla- Coal 1 piece for steam

Ingredients Boiling Rice

  • Rice 1 kg
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Cardamom 5 pieces
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Salt 3tsp

Ingredients Biryani

  • Oil 1/4 kg
  • Pyaaz- Onion 2 pieces
  • Teez Paat- Bay leaves 3 pieces
  • Badyaan- Star Anise 2 pieces
  • Long- Long pepper 4 pieces
  • Kali Mirch- Black Pepper 7 pieces
  • Lehsan Adrak Paste- Ginger Garlic paste 4 tsp
  • Laal Mirch- Red Grinded pepper 2 tsp
  • Dhania Powder- Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Biryani Masala – 4 tbsp
  • Tamatar- Tomato 3/4 kg
  • Dahi- Yogurt ¼ kg
  • Namak- Salt 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves to taste
  • Tomatoes sliced to taste
  • Lemon sliced to taste
  • Green Chillies to taste

Chicken Tikka Biryani Urdu

Marinate the Chicken

Take Chicken 1 kg in a bowl. Add Namak- Salt 1 tsp and Laal Mirch- Red grinded pepper 1 tsp in it. Now add Tikka Masala 1 tsp, Haldi- Tumeric ½ tsp, and add Salt ½ tsp. Further, add Lemon Juice 2 and Yellow color 2 Pinch. Now add Yogurt 1 cup. Mix all well and let it cook on medium-low flame. Give it Coal steam by placing Koyla- Coal 1 piece over a piece of bread while cooking chicken. Also, put some oil on coal for perfect steam.

Boiling Rice

Boil water in a pot. Add some Rice 1 kg in it. Add Cinnamon 2 pieces and Cardamom 5 pieces in it. Also, add Vinegar 2 tbsp and Salt 3tsp. Let the rice boil and ¾ cook.

Making of Biryani

Put Oil 1/4 kg in a pot. Add Pyaaz- Onion 2 pieces. Let it fry till golden brown in color. Add Teez Paat- Bay leaves 3 pieces, Badyaan- Star Anise 2 pieces, Long- Long pepper 4 pieces, and Kali Mirch- Black Pepper 7 pieces. Also, add Lehsan Adrak Paste- Ginger Garlic paste 4 tsp in it. Now is the time to add Laal Mirch- Red grinded pepper 2 tsp. Mix it well then add Dhania Powder- Coriander powder 2 tsp, and Biryani Masala – 4 tbsp.

Layering

Further, add Tamatar- Tomato 3/4 kg. Let it cook till it leaves oil. Then add Dahi- Yogurt ¼ kg and Namak- Salt 1 tsp. Mix well and cook till leaves the oil. Add boiled rice and cooked meat. Give Layers of each. Add Mint leaves to taste, Tomatoes sliced to taste, Lemon sliced to taste, and Green Chillies to taste for garnishing. Let them cook on low flame till rice cook completely.
